Hummus is a great addition to bread, salads, pita bread, crackers or vegetables.
There are many recipes and combinations for hummus, we encourage you to experiment and modify the dish to your liking.
Today we are giving you a recipe for hummus with the addition of dried tomatoes and aromatic spices.
Ingredients
800g cooked chickpeas - 2 cans
5 sun-dried tomatoes in oil
1 tbsp tomato oil
2 teaspoons of tahini paste
juice of 1/2 lemon
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp ground cumin (Roman cumin)
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 teaspoon ground ginger
4-6 tablespoons of aquafaba - water from a can of chickpeas
salt, pepper
Serving suggestion
black sesame
linseed oil
Execution
Drain the chickpeas, save the aquafaba.
Put all hummus ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and velvety.
If the hummus is too thick, add a little water (aquafaba), season to taste and mix for a while.
Before serving, sprinkle with black sesame seeds and pour over linseed oil.
