The recipe for cookies comes from an old notebook of a certain Mrs. Basia. The cookies are delicately crisp and tasty. It is worth refreshing such forgotten recipes, because they are simply brilliant in their simplicity.

Easter is near, maybe we will release the bunnies on the meadow? Cinnamon bunnies, of course...

Let the smell of cinnamon fill the house even this Christmas.


500g flour

80g powdered sugar

2 yolks

250g butter

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

2 tablespoons of cinnamon

2 tablespoons of cold water

Additionally to sprinkling:

3 tablespoons of powdered sugar

1 teaspoon of cinnamon


Add butter in pieces to the dry ingredients and combine them by chopping with a knife. To make it easier, we can mix the butter with dry ingredients in a blender to make the so-called "wet sand".

Add egg yolks, vanilla extract, water and knead to a smooth and elastic dough. The finished ones are wrapped in cling film and put in the fridge for a minimum of an hour.

Then we roll out the dough to a thickness of about 3mm and use the molds to cut out the cookies.

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C, bake it for 10-12 minutes.

Sprinkle the still warm cakes with powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon.
