Red onion marinated in wine vinegar, honey and spices
I tasted this delicious onion for the first time at a culinary workshop led by Dominika Wójciak, that is Jarzynova . We prepared the marinade together and it was an addition to the veggie beetroot burger. Even though the onions only marinated for a very short time at the time, I liked it so much that I was sure it would stay in my fridge forever.
This recipe and many other wonderful inspirations can be found in Dominika's book "Prosto, pysznie, to the box". Dominika recommends adding pickled onions to " whatever you want ". Goes well with cooked beans, chickpeas, lentils, broccoli, beans and cauliflower. It is an ideal addition to burgers, both vegetarian and meat. Add onions to salads instead of raw onions, firecracker. The latest discovery is herring with pickled onions. He stayed at my Christmas table and made a sensation.
