It is a vegetarian dish, and if we omit the egg white and replace the milk with water, we have a vegan set. The recipe is simple and quick to prepare. It will be perfect for a larger party, because we can bake cauliflower in the oven on two trays at the same time.
What is such a cauliflower suitable for? I think it is very universal. It can be an addition to dinner served with rice, noodles or with french fries. Serving cauliflower in bowls of lettuce is a light and healthy snack. Glazed baked cauliflower is a great addition to wraps / tortillas or salads.
Most of the ingredients from Asian cuisine can be found in online stores, for example Cuisines of the world . I highly recommend the spicy Korean paste Gochujang.
500 - 700 g of cauliflower florets
1 egg white
100 g of rice flour
50 g of corn starch
100 ml of milk or water
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon of granulated garlic
a pinch of salt and pepper
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
100 ml of soy sauce
1-2 tablespoons of sugar
2 cloves of garlic
3 cm of ginger
1 teaspoon of spicy chili paste (eg Gochujang)
2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
5 g of corn starch
50 ml of water

We divide the cauliflower into florets of a similar size. From the remaining ingredients, it is best to prepare a dough in a large bowl, a little thicker than for pancakes. Put portions of cauliflower in the dough and coat in dough.
Heat the oven to 220 ° C. Line the baking tray with baking paper. Put the dough cauliflower on a baking tray and bake it for about 20 minutes.
While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, mix the water and starch and set aside. Grate the ginger and garlic. In a saucepan, mix the ginger, garlic and other ingredients, mix and cook for about 5 minutes. Then add a mixture of water and starch, stir until the glaze slightly thickens and turn off the burner. If the glaze is too thick, thin it with hot water.
When the cauliflower is baked, remove the hot tray from the oven and carefully glaze the florets. We mix so that they stick to each side with a sticky mixture. Bake again for 5-10 minutes. We serve warm sprinkled with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
