Quinoa - quinoa - is a healthy addition to both sweet and savory dishes.
Quinoa is a nutrient-rich food that is very beneficial to health. Of the more important ones, we can distinguish its antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. Health itself! It also works well in a slimming diet - it has a low glycemic index.
How to use quinoa?
For us, lovers of sweets, quinoa will be an addition to the dessert, which will also work as a breakfast.
We used frozen strawberries for dessert, because they are still much tastier and more strawberry than the fresh ones that are on sale at that time.
Of course, we will use the fresh strawberries in the strawberry season and freeze the rest !
For the recipe we used previously cooked quinoa and a large handful frozen strawberries. We blend the strawberries slightly defrosted into a mousse, and leave a few for decoration. We broke the layers of quinoa and strawberries with refreshing yogurt and sweet maple syrup.
