The first condition for the guarantee of taste is watermelon - it must be ripe, sweet and juicy.
The second is good quality feta cheese, salty and spicy with slightly sour aftertaste and crispy texture.
When we meet these two conditions, add the remaining ingredients, we get a tasty, refreshing salad, perfect for summer.
1/4 watermelon - about 1 kg
1/2 red onion
a handful of black olives
100 g feta cheese
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
1/2 lime juice
Cut the watermelon flesh into thick cubes, remove the seeds. Cut the feta cheese into a little smaller cubes than the watermelon. Cut the onion into feathers.
Combine the ingredients for the sauce in a separate vessel.
In a bowl, dish or in a watermelon shell, gently combine the watermelon, feta cheese, olives and onion. Pour the sauce and sprinkle with mint leaves.
