Green smoothie with cherries, grapefruit and carrot parsley
Never throw away carrot parsley!
Not everyone knows that carrot parsley is edible Well, carrot parsley is edible and, more interestingly, is said to contain more vitamins than its root.
Carrot stalk is an ideal addition to green smoothies. In my opinion, its flavor blends well with all fruits. In addition to smoothies from carrot leek we can make pesto, chopped sprinkle on salad, potatoes or add to meat or vegetarian cutlets.
A smoothie made with cherries, grapefruit and carrot parsley is just one of many ideas. Carrot parsley combines well with other fruits, try it, experiment. I recommend a smoothie of carrot parsley, mango, a piece of ginger and lime juice - yummy.
1 pink grapefruit
2 cups of pricked cherries (can be frozen)
2 handfuls of carrot parsley without thick stems
200 ml of water + additional portion as desired
a glass of ice cubes
All the ingredients are washed and drained, the grapefruit is peeled. Into the mixing cup we put the carrot leaves, the carrots, the pitted cherries (frozen cherries do not thaw), the grapefruit cut into smaller pieces, throw in the ice cubes and add 200 ml of water. Blend the whole thing into a smooth cocktail. Top up with water, enough until you get the consistency that best suits you and blend again briefly.
