Quinoa - how to cook it?

  1. Rinse the groats in a strainer under running water.
  2. Then pour boiling water over it and drain.
  3. Put the quinoa into the pot, pour water in the ratio of grits to water in a ratio of 1: 2.
  4. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes or until you notice that there is no water.
  5. At the end of cooking, add a pinch of salt.
  6. When the groats have absorbed almost all the water, remove the pot from the heat, cover it and leave it for about 30 minutes.
  7. A pot with a thick bottom will keep the temperature for a long time, thanks to which the groats will be sufficiently soft.
  8. The cooked groats can be stored in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, for about 3 days.
