tureckie ciasteczka Şekerpare szekerpare

Ingredients for 20 cookies

150 g of sugar

150 ml of water

Juice squeezed from 1/2 lemon

130 g of butter

65 g of powdered sugar

1 teaspoon of sugar with vanilla

200 g of fine flour

100 g of semolina

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

the peel of the orange

hazelnuts (20 pieces)

Boil water with sugar. Pour lemon juice and wait for it to boil again. We turn off the stove and set the syrup aside.

Beat the butter with powdered sugar and sugar with vanilla until fluff. Add half a portion of both flours, grated orange peel and baking powder. We mix briefly with a mixer, then add the second half of the wheat flour and semolina. Mix again briefly, about 30 seconds. The dough should look like a wet crumble.

We turn on the oven and set the power to 180 ° C.

Form balls the size of a walnut out of the dough, and beat them with a hazelnut. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until the cookies are golden. When hot, pour the syrup over it immediately after taking it out of the oven. Şekerpare should draw in the syrup and slightly swell.

Enjoy your meal!
